‘Domain Labs’ – Captive Reality Ltd trading as Domain Labs
Agreement
Domain Labs is a registrar of Nominet, who are the internet registry for all .uk domain names and operates the national infrastructure that helps make the UK internet work.

By confirming a domain name order with Domain Labs you are accepting the terms and conditions set by both Domain Labs and Nominet.
Domain Labs offers the service of registering and managing your domains on your behalf as the registrant of a domain name. This service including domain name renewals, updates and maintenance, under the Nominet tag TOBECONFIRMED.
All domains ending with .uk (including .uk .co.uk, .org.uk etc.) are charged as per our pricing schedule. Please see the Domain Agreement page for details on all other domains.
There is no charge for transferring an existing domain name over to Domain Labs but there will be an additional charge for the change of Registrant name as per Nominet’s terms.
Domain Labs will confirm all company and registrant details with you prior to registration of the domain.
Once registered it will be the registrant’s responsibility to advise of any changes to these details and it is the registrant’s responsibility to make sure their contact details are up to date.
You will be provided with all of the domain details including expiry dates upon registration. Domain Labs will provide all domain details upon your request. Contact us on [email protected]
Renewals
All .uk domains are renewed on a bi-annual basis unless specified by the registrant.
Domain Labs will automatically renew all domains on your behalf 30 days before the expiry date unless otherwise specified by the registrant.
If you do not wish to renew a domain please make sure you contact us a minimum of 30 days before your domain expires by emailing us at [email protected].
Domain Labs takes no responsibility if a domain renewal fails due to contact details being incorrect or if a domain is renewed that is no longer required by the registrant.
Expiring and Expired Domains
If you inform us that you do not wish for us to renew your domain we will tag the domain as ‘should not be renewed’. The domain will then expire at the end of the registration period and will be available for anyone else to register. If you change your mind please let us know as soon as possible so that we can attempt to renew your domain.
Domains Labs cannot be held responsible for you losing your domain if you’ve informed us that you do not wish to renew it.
Transfers
We do not charge for transferring domains to us and we do not charge for transferring domains away from us.
Complaints
We are committed to providing high standards of service to our customers but understand that sometimes things can go wrong. If you are not satisfied with any part of our domain registration or management service or you wish to report any abuse, then we want to know about it. We will resolve your complaint as quickly as possible and if appropriate provide an explanation as to what went wrong and how we will seek to resolve the issue.

- We will aim to respond to all points of contact within 2 business days.
- We will then fully investigate your complaint and aim to respond within 5 working days.
- If the situation requires a longer investigation, we will contact you within 5 working days to inform you of this and let you know when you can expect our response.
- If you’re not happy with the initial outcome of your complaint, than please feel free to escalate your issue to Nominet (the .uk registry) here.
